Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes

The Salish Kootenai College D’Arcy McNickle Library serves as an academic and tribal public library for the Flathead Reservation in Montana. The library plans to expand its offerings by purchasing new materials for the adult, young adult, and children’s collections, with priority on acquiring Salish and Kootenai tribal materials and materials pertaining to other Native American tribes. The library’s public access internet is heavily utilized, and to expand community access to technology, the library will purchase new computers. Staff members will participate in a conference sponsored by the Montana Library Association.
