Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians of Wisconsin

The Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe College Community Library will expand its collection by purchasing new materials and resources to meet patrons’ interests in the areas of early literacy, Native American topics, and popular fiction. DVDs and audio books and materials for the visually and hearing impaired also will be added to the collection. The materials will be shared with members of the Northern Waters Library Network and community college outreach sites. The library also will sponsor a one-week summer library program for children in grades 1–5, managed by two student and/or community workers.
