Ute Mountain Ute Tribe

The White Mesa Library is a learning hub for the Ute Mountain Ute community in the four corners region of Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico. The library serves community members of all ages and is co-located with the San Juan School District preschool. Two computer labs provide adult education and student support. For many in the community, the library provides the only access to computer technology and the internet. The library will maintain an up-to-date collection of books, research materials, magazine subscriptions, and movies on DVD. Staff will participate in the annual conference of the Association of Tribal Archives, Libraries, and Museums.
