Port Graham Village Council

Port Graham Village Council, in collaboration with the Kenai Peninsula College Adult Education Department and Project GRAD, will improve digital resources at the library, enhance access, and provide digital literacy education within their community. Port Graham is a remote Alaska Native village accessible only by plane or boat. Project staff will purchase technology and equipment enabling the library to offer remote and in-person digital literacy classes, and a mobile and ADA-compliant access ramp for the entrance to the library. Programming will focus on postsecondary readiness, digital literacy, and life skills. Additional topics include basic computer operations, software applications such as word processing, an introduction to the Google Suite, information literacy, and online safety. This project will benefit village Elders and high school students in particular.
