Funds from this Basic grant will be used for two purposes: 1) to fund the position of a librarian and after-school tutor during the 2018/2019 school year. After-school tutoring will be open to Gulkana Village youth (residents, tribal members and children of employees) from kindergarten through twelfth grade; and 2) to purchase two laptop computers and provide Internet service for the Gulkana Library. Computers will be used for homework and educational games.
