Fallon Paiute-Shoshone Tribe

The "Our Future is Fun-Sized" project will empower the "People of the Marsh - Toi Ticutta" by enhancing library services to the Fallon Paiute Shoshone Tribal membership, the general public, and twenty-six northern Nevada Tribes affiliated with the Intertribal Council of Nevada. The project will provide systematic instruction through the Tribal Library including cultural activities, youth engagement, literacy and language development, educational services, and expansion of tribal library collections.The project will also utilize technology as a learning tool for all levels and ages of the population and incorporate cultural values into the teaching of basic computer skills so tribal members can meet personal achievement goals.
