KEIKI O KA 'AINA PRE SCHOOL INC

The Holo Imua Project will increase literacy skills in the Native Hawaiian community by targeting children birth to five years. Activities will include parent training to support literacy development and provide library quality books, specifically Hawaiian Literature, available in two languages (Hawaiian and English). The project will target 1,250 children and 1,040 parents on three islands, and will provide books through newly developed libraries at KOKA sites and through the School's home visiting program for high risk children. In addition, the project will serve 50 Native Hawaiian children with special needs in two special education classes.
