The Kent State University School of Library and Information Science will partner with the Cleveland Municipal School District to recruit and educate 18 school library media specialists and prepare them to perform effectively in urban school districts, especially those implementing smaller learning communities. The librarians will receive tuition scholarships and will complete master's degrees on-site through interactive videoconferencing. Match: $224,209
