The Oneida Herkimer Madison Board of Cooperative Educational Services will collaborate with other boards of cooperative educational services, participating school districts, and the University at Buffalo Department of Library and Information Studies to address needs in Central and Upstate New York for certified library media specialists. The project will recruit nine students who will complete the New York State Education Department-approved library media certification program. The program will combine distance learning and summer campus residency to address barriers created by location. Match $513,448
