To help address these issues, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s School of Library and Information Science and and the School of Government will support one PhD student and 10 dual-degree students, providing each of them with both a Master of Library/Information Science degree and a Master of Public Administration degree. These UNC-CH schools will also conduct professional development for government information professionals while continuing to develop a model graduate curriculum and intensive internship opportunities for the curation and stewardship of digital public information. Partners include the National Archives and Records Administration, Town of Chapel Hill, and the North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources.
