East Central University and its partners will use this grant to support the Oklahoma Library Skills Initiative, which seeks to create information literacy teaching resources through a collaborative effort. This project provides participating librarians with training in the technology and pedagogy required to address college students’ information literacy deficiencies. The technology training teaches participating librarians how to use a web-based, information literacy tutorial template created in an earlier collaborative project, while the pedagogical training emphasizes the assessment of student learning outcomes. The partner libraries will then share the resulting online tutorials.
