IMLS Announces Recipients of the Largest Federal Museum Grant Program

Institutions across the United States will use Museums for America funding to better serve their communities.

WASHINGTON, DC— The Institute of Museum and Library Services, the nation’s leading source of federal funding for museums and libraries, has just announced the recipients of its largest museum funding program; Museums for America.

This year, 85 museums and related organizations across the country will receive funding to benefit the public through high-quality learning experiences, effective partnerships and collaborations, and increased access to collections.
