IMLS is moving

WASHINGTON, DC— The Institute of Museum and Library Services is relocating their offices. Correspondence with the agency should now be addressed as follows:

Institute of Museum and Library Services

200 Constitution Ave. NW, Suite N-3627

Washington, DC 20210

IMLS’s former lease at 955 L’Enfant Plaza has expired and it will now share space with other agencies in the federally owned Frances Perkins Building.

Deputy Secretary of Labor Keith Sonderling, whose agency is the primary tenant of the Frances Perkins building, said of the move:

I am pleased to welcome IMLS to the Frances Perkins Building. I am confident that our sharing of space not only represents a good value to American taxpayers, but will provide for greater collaboration between IMLS and the Department of Labor on furthering development of the professional museum and library workforces and continuing the President’s mission to renew our federal cultural agencies. I look forward to the opportunities this move presents to further my longstanding work with IMLS.
