The Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners will use funds to support the goals of their Five-Year Plan for FY 2013-2017, which reflect the purposes and priorities of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). The commission's goals are to: 1) support learners of all ages with their individual educational and learning goals; 2) improve access to library services and resources for all residents of the Commonwealth; and 3) enhance the quality of library services offered to residents of the Commonwealth.
