The Minnesota Department of Education- State Library Services will use funds to support the goals of their Five-Year Plan for FY 2013-2017, which reflect the purposes and priorities of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). In Minnesota, specific goals address 1) Facilitating increased access to resources in all types of eligible libraries, especially through collaborative public and private partnerships, for the purposes of expanding programs and services supporting Minnesotan's needs; and 2) Facilitating access, preservation, and resource sharing in all types of libraries, locally to internationally, to support research, education and innovation.
