The Oregon State Library will use funds to support the goals of their Five-Year Plan for FY 2013-2017, which reflect the purposes and priorities of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). The goals include: 1) providing access to information resources and library services; 2) using technology to increase capacity to provide library services and expand access; 3) developing a culture in libraries that promotes evaluation and use of evaluation results; 4) developing information literacy skills; and 5) fostering the joy of reading.
