The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction- Division for Libraries and Technology will use funds to support the goals of their Five-Year Plan for FY 2013-2017, which reflect the purposes and priorities of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). In Wisconsin, specific goals address 1) Ensuring that libraries utilize technology to improve services and facilitate access to materials and information resources in WI libraries and from other sources to benefit all WI residents; 2) Ensuring convenient and efficient access to a wide range of quality library and information services for all WI residents, including those who have difficulty using a library; and 3) Ensuring that enhanced continuing education, training, and development opportunities are available to the current library workforce and library users.
