Library Grant Deadline Extended for Applicants Affected by Hurricane Florence

Washington, DC— The Institute of Museum and Library Services is extending the deadline for National Leadership Grants for Libraries and the Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian program from September 17 to October 9. Institutions eligible to request the extension are those in federally declared hurricane or typhoon disaster areas (September 10-17). To request an extension, email kshepherd@imls.gov by Monday, September 17, at 11:59 pm ET.

National Leadership Grants for Libraries invest in projects that address challenges faced by the library and archives fields and generate results such as new tools, research findings, or models that can be widely used. The Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian program supports professional development and training projects for libraries and archives. For more information, please visit the IMLS website.
